DO | Hit the hookah once, then promptly release and enjoy the flavor.
DO | Take turns. Not only is it polite, but it’s customary. Puff and pass.
DO | Understand that the hookah is a water pipe meant for social purposes. A hookah and its uses are not to be referred to or confused with other “recreational” water pipes. Hookahs are part of an ancient culture and to mock or disrespect them simply will not be tolerated. So please, enjoy your hookah but be responsible and respectful, not only to the culture but also to the Casbah.
DO |Understand that if you want a hookah, you must order at least a soda or tea if you are not ordering food, and you must order food if you wish to drink water.
DON’T | Hold in the smoke for extended periods of time. This causes a lack of oxygen to your brain. That is bad! Love your brain- breathe!
DON’T | Hit the hookah continually without breathing fresh air. This will cause feelings of faintness and/or dizziness.
By smoking a hookah, you are using a tobacco product and exposing yourself to the same potential health hazards and risks associated with other tobacco products, including, but not limited to exposure to nicotine, carbon monoxide and tar. You should not smoke a hookah if you are taking any prescription medications, if you are sick( with a cold or flu), if you are pregnant or if you are under the influence of alcohol. You use the hookah at your own risk.
